Tax Deductibility
American Endeavor, Inc., is a non-profit organization, approved by the IRS for 501(c)(3) status. Therefore, gifts made to American Endeavor are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The following amendments to the law exist and apply in 2021.
The Federal Government’s CARES ACT (sections 2204 and 2205) has amended the tax rules. This allows individual donors to take an above-the-line charitable deduction of up to $300 without having to itemize taxes. For other individual donors, 100% of individual cash gifts can now be deducted against adjusted gross income. For corporations, the 10% limitation is increased to 25% of taxable income.
